Location, views of the Hudson, adjacent to a walking trail. At night the boat would sound their horns, but I was only awakened once. Nice, wide flooring throughout looking like french oak. Friendly staff.

The Abbey Inn was really wonderful. The location can't be beat, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were beautiful. The room was pristine and very clean and modern. It was quiet and the temperature was perfect. We did not want to leave. I felt like a princess with the lovely toiletries and robes which were supplied. The on-site restaurant was a real treat, too. We will be back.

The property architecture and decoration, amazing one of a kind. the room with lot's of space, clean and beds very confortable.. staff so nice, professional. very nice view on the city and the lake. the outside spaces are just Wonderfull you can enjoy sitting in the gardens , enjoying the view, working or reading..I ate at the restaurant at it was veery delicious. the cocktails were perfect at the bar. all the staff extremely kind and professional. etc..

River view Premier King room was just that - Large and expansive with King Bed and River view. We liked the quiet vibe and outdoor seating with view of the Hudson - although not alot of seating and when we chose to venture out a large group had taken all of the seating (only 4 chairs). We did enjoy the quiet walks around the old Fort and the cemetery.

Liked the large towels, the water in the room, comfort of bed, linens and space. At the restaurant, we liked that it wasn't buffet and the eggs were cooked perfectly and the price was right.

Staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. We also had dinner and that was delicious. We enjoyed massages. Pricey but excellent. Would have liked a steam room but sauna was ok.
